As a designer with with Asymptote (Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture), Christopher was an original member of the winning "Gateway" design team. Conceived as a western version of New York Harbor's Statue of Liberty, the Steel Cloud is a monument to large-scale immigration to Los Angeles.
